Tim Greene is a pioneering South African filmmaker renowned for his innovative approaches to storytelling and film financing. He made headlines with his debut feature Boy Called Twist (2004), which was crowdfunded by 1,000 investors and premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. His second feature, Skeem (2011), won the Audience Choice Award at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival.


In 2020, Tim broke new ground with Cabin Fever, a film shot entirely during lockdown without a traditional crew, showcasing his adaptability and creative vision. His television credits include directing episodes for acclaimed series like Hard Copy, for which he won the SAFTA Golden Horn for Best Director: TV Drama in 2006.


Beyond directing, Tim is a skilled editor and writer, contributing to various projects across film and television. His commitment to storytelling and innovation continues to influence the South African film industry.
